A gold dealer in Central The dealer thanked the unit for catching two members of its staff while they were trying to sell merchandise stolen from the company.

SGT Ng Hing-kai, PC Yau Suet-fung and WPC Li Lai-yee, all from Traffic Kowloon West A Kowloon Tong resident The resident praised the officers for the way they followed up on her suggestion of installing pedestrian lighting in Kowloon Tong, resulting in a positive response from the Transport Department.

WPC Tsui Yu of Central Division A visitor from Taiwan The visitor had witnessed WPC Tsui, in plain-clothes, tackling a female thief inside the MTR Causeway Bay Station. Later he said in an email to the Force that he had never imagined "a young girl in her early 20s would so bravely tackle a thief, just like what happens in a movie episode!"
SPC Tsui Wai-yeung of Traffic Kowloon East A medical doctor The doctor said SPC Tsui was kind-hearted and considerate while investigating into a traffic accident in which the doctor's wife was injured and hospitalised.
Officers of Kowloon City Division A Homantin resident The resident complimented officers of the Division for promptly locating his Form III daughter in Tseung Kwan O, just three hours after he had made a report to the Division. He said the officers concerned had been "very efficient, responsible and serious" in helping him.
Officers of EU car 37 from Kowloon West Region An indecent assault case victim The woman said she made a 999 call after being indecently assaulted on the street in Kowloon City. The officers soon arrived at the scene in their car, and handled her case with "professionalism, caring and understanding".
PC Lam Chap-shing of Accident Investigation Team 5 of Traffic New Territories North An expatriate resident PC Lam was praised for his professionalism in handling a traffic accident involving several cars and a bus on Tolo Highway in October. The member also said PC Lam and his colleagues had carried out a difficult job at the scene with thoroughness and courtesy.
