Force archer wins silver in Grand Prix

Wong Tai Sin Division Assistant Divisional Commander (Operations) Fred Tsui has claimed the silver medal in the Male Compound Individual Division of the 3rd Asian Archery Grand Prix in Hanoi, Vietnam, as a representative of the Hong Kong SAR.

Mr Tsui was beaten in the Gold Medal Match after two tie-breaking shots by one point only.

The Grand Prix was virtually the largest Asian archery tournament of the year, attracting some 10 Asian countries.

Shortly after the Hanoi competition, Mr Tsui participated in the National Archery Championship held at Wuming, Nanning, Guangsi, in a private capacity, and won the National Championship in the Male Compound Individual Division after two days of competition.
