Force HKAYP members get Gold Award
The Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, presented the Hong Kong Award for Young People (HKAYP) Gold Award to three of the Force's HKAYP members at the HKAYP Gold Award Presentation Ceremony held at Government House on December 10.
The HKAYP members are Woman Police Constable Wong So-han of Emergency Unit Kowloon West, and Kowloon District Junior Police Call Leaders Chui Pak-keung and Chow Ka-kin.
Besides the gold awards, six volunteer trainers from Kowloon West Region received Certificate of Recognition at the ceremony, which was attended by Commissioner Lee Ming-kwai and Assistant Commissioner (Training) David Thomas.
The HKAYP aims at encouraging young people to meet challenges, develop their self-confidence and leadership. Staff interested in the programme may approach any District PCRO Office for further details.
