Marine Officers receive tailor-made training

Training Wing last month presented certificates to 18 Marine officers who had attended a two-and-half-day workshop on facilitation skills in Marine Police Training School.

Conducted by Force Training Officers (FTOs), the training course of the workshop was tailor-made for Marine officers in training to polish their instructional skills. It also enabled the officers to share their experiences of teaching techniques and presentation skills, with an emphasis on how to motivate student participation in training.

Members of the course commented that the FTOs had offered them a professional service and that they were now better-equipped to deliver high quality service for marine related training.

At the conclusion of the course, Senior Superintendent (Support) of Marine Region, Mr Rod Colson, presented the FTOs with a class photo to commemorate the venture.
