Robotcop visits remote schools again | ||
The Mobile Display Section of Crime Prevention Bureau, together with School Liaison Officers of the Police Community Relations Office of Border District, has brought Robotcop to remote primary schools in the district again to disseminate crime prevention messages to students.
To the students, most of whom live on the Mainland and cross the boundary check points at Huanggang or Sha Tau Kok every day, Robotcop is no stranger. Back in 2001, Chief Inspector Ng Kwok-keung of the Training and Support Section, Crime Prevention Bureau, brought the 2nd generation Robotcop to the schools on many rainy days. He promised he would come back with the new 3rd generation Robocop in due course.
Despite long travelling time, CIP Ng kept his promise earlier in the year, and, together with his staff, was given a warm welcome by the students. And he further promised to return with Robotcop after the summer vacation. |
