New get-well card for hospitalised officers
Apart from conveying the concern of a caring workforce, the card makes provision for the attachment of information leaflets on medical and sick leave entitlement of a pensionable civil servant; general information of admission to and discharge procedures from hospitals of the Hospital Authority; payment and reimbursement arrangements for expenses for special medical treatment; and direct payment for Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) cases, etc.
In addition, there is information of the general services provided by the Welfare Services Group to hospitalised officers.
The new card has been designed by a clerical assistant of the Welfare Services Group and printed by the Government Logistics Department with environmentally friendly ink and paper.
The Welfare Services Group of the Personnel Services and Staff Relations Branch has designed a new Get-Well Card, which will be used by welfare staff in visiting hospitalised officers.
