Youth campaign closes in EDIST |

A ceremony was held at North Point Police Station last month to mark the conclusion of the 7th Anniversary of the "Optimistic View of Life" Campaign which was jointly organised by Eastern District (EDIST), Eastern District Fight Crime Committee, institutions and religious organisations. Among those officiating at the ceremony were Eastern District Commander Choi Wong Fung-yee, Chairman of Eastern District Fight Crime Committee, Mr Hui Ka-hoo, and representatives of community organisations and other government departments. During the campaign, 40 students took part in various activities and outward-bound training courses, all of which helped them acquire a positive attitude towards life and values, enhance their confidence and develop their ability to cope with adversity. The activities also made them more aware of the significance of caring for others and their responsibilities to society.
