The officers were complimented for handling two cases of lost property at the airport. In the first case, the resident lost her handbag and purse upon returning from Bangkok, but the officers were "extremely helpful and kind" and swiftly located the lost property for her. In the second case, the visitor, returning from Malaysia, thanked the officers for their speedy response and caring attitude in recovering her handbag containing valuables, following a three-hour search in the Passenger Terminal Building. |

A Beijing resident working in Hong Kong |
The resident lost his wallet containing a Mainland identity card, cash and credit cards before departing at the Hong Kong and Macao Ferry Terminal, but had no time to make a report to police. A few days later, the officers traced the resident through a bank and subsequently returned the lost property to him. The resident said what the officers had done for him left him with a deep impression of the professional qualities, manner and efficiency of Force members. |

The resident wrote to CP to say she took pride in Hong Kong having very fine police officers, after the officers concerned had located her son, who was missing shortly after school. |

The resident said that in response to her telephone call, the officers went to her house to handle a family dispute, and defused a potentially dangerous situation with professional skills and a great sense of public service. In her letter to CP, the resident also praised CWDIV's efficiency in swiftly resolving two recent major cases. |

The motorist was full of praise of SPC Tsui for his thorough and impartial investigation into a traffic accident that occurred in Kwun Tong Road outside Kai Yip Estate, involving her car and a KMB double-decker. She also commended SPC Tsui for briefing her on all the procedures involved and giving her clear guidance with courtesy and zeal. |

The motorist lost his way in Mong Kok while driving to take his children to a school in Ho Man Tin. As he was looking at a street guide, PC Au Yeung pulled up beside him and patiently and courteously showed him the route to the school. |
