More tribute to officers over HKMC |

The public continued to pay tribute to officers' performance during the Hong Kong Ministerial Conference (HKMC) as more organisations presented banners to the Force and contributions to the Police Welfare Fund. Among them, 14 members of the Hong Kong Stockbrokers Association, led by their Chairman, Mr Anthony Espina, called on Commissioner Lee Ming-kwai to praise the Force for doing a great job during HKMC, and presented a cheque for $200,000 to the welfare fund. Meanwhile, the owner of a Wan Chai restaurant and the Deputy Vice-chairman of the Hong Kong Hai Nam Commercial Association, Mr Cheung Hok-sau, called at Wan Chai Police Station to present a cheque for $20,000 to the welfare fund and plaques respectively, which were accepted by Wan Chai District Commander John Cox. Earlier, the Chairman of the Hong Kong United Youth Association, Mr Herman Hu, accompanied by three Deputy Vice-chairmen, Mr Hui Wah-kit, Mr Yung Wing-kei and Mr Yip Chun-dou, presented three banners to the Force. The banners were accepted by Mr Cox, Wan Chai Divisional Commander Chan Fung-hau and Happy Valley Divisional Commander Chan Chun.
