The Police Ladies Basketball Team shone again at the basketball competition of the Corporate Games 2005, bringing home the champion title for the second year running.

The team secured the victory with impressive shots and tactics, great team spirit and determination. The success can also be attributed to the good co-operation amongst the players, since their friendly match with the Singapore Home United Club (SHUC) Women Team last September.

The Singapore Police Deputy Superintendent, Ms Jo Choo, Manager of the SHUC Women Team, led her team in a reciprocal visit to the Force, following the HKP Basketball Men Team's visit to Singapore in early September.

Extending a warm welcome to the Singapore team, the Ladies Team hosted a friendly match in the Police Sports & Recreation Club on the first day of their visit. The match proved to be a stimulating one in which both parties gained not only useful experience but also precious friendship.

Police Basketball Club Vice-Chairman Superintendent Chung Siu-yeung, Secretary Chief Inspector Tse Kwok-wai and Men's Team Manager Senior Inspector Lam Hung-chuen were on hand to lend their support to the event.

Force members are welcomed to join the HKP Ladies Team. Enquires can be made to the Team Manager, Senior Inspector Kap Fan, on 2860-6147.

Besides impressive tactics, team spirit and co-operation also count for the Police Ladies Basketball Team's victory at the Corporate Games 2005
