Experience-sharing session
The Police Public Relations Branch (PPRB) arranged an experience-sharing session on handling of public order events at its recent public relations bi-monthly meeting with Police Community Relations Officers from various districts. At the session, the former Public Order Events Liaison Officer from Central District, Sergeant Tsang Wai-main, and his successor, Sergeant Ma Yiu-cho, shared their experiences in handling public order events.
Having handled more than 2,000 events for the last three years, SGT Tsang spoke of his skills of communicating with demonstrators, as well as the relevant legislation. A pocket size guide book on "Public Order Event and Useful Law", published by PCRO CDIST, was also distributed to the attendants.
