The 120-year-old Peak Station will open its doors to the public in the near future.

According to the Antiquities and Monuments Office of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Peak Police Station (also known as the Gough Hill Police Station), was built at 92 Peak Road in 1886. Before long, it will be classified as another declared monuments in Hong Kong.

To make the Open Day of the old station a success, SDVC PKSDIV Senior Inspector Sunny San Tze-kin would welcome help from serving or retired officers, who may have interesting items tucked away in their homes.

If you have anything about the old station, such as old photos, records, documents, anecdotes or anything of interest, contact Mr San on 2849-0201 or his assistant, Sergeant Ng Siu-kwong, on 2849-0231, or by fax 2849-4156 and 2849-5652 or E-mail sdvc-pksdiv@police.gov.hk and do-rr-pksdiv@police.gov.hk.

Do you know this tiny white house?
