In a letter to CP, the resident expressed her gratitude to PC Leung for what he had done for her family after her younger brother suddenly passed away at home due to a heart attack. The resident described PC Leung as "an extremely caring individual", patiently and clearly explaining all the required procedures and showing the kind of professionalism that the Force has always demonstrated.

SGT Lau Cheuk-chiu and PC Tsui Chit of PSU 3 CDIV

In a letter to DC CDIST, the resident thanked SGT Lau and PC Tsui for locating his 79-year-old wife after she had gone missing in Central. The resident approached the Reporting Centre in Central for help after searching for his wife in vain for about an hour. Upon receiving a missing person report and realising the lady is suffering from senile dementia, SGT Lau and PC Tsui comforted the resident and immediately arranged a car to take him around Central and Western districts to look for his wife. Eventually, the lady was located in Queen's Road West, near Whitty Street, Western District.

The resident praised TWSDIV, in particular PCs Leung and Choi, for making a great effort in alerting local residents of, and preventing vehicle theft inside multi-storey carparks in Wong Tai Sin.

The resident said she lost her handbag after alighting from a taxi, and later saw PCs Wong and Lai asking two men how the handbag had come to their possession. The resident added that but for the officers' alertness, she would not have got back her handbag.

The resident praised PC Tsui for swiftly handling his report of illegal parking in Repulse Bay, involving a number of motorists. Confronted by the "unhappy crowd of drivers". PC Tsui was "calm and polite, and tactfully handled the situation", said the resident.

SGT Yuen Pak-yan of AIT I&S KW

The solicitor said she was driving in her own car to an important function in Kowloon when she drove around in Nathan Road for an hour due to closure of some roads. Fortunately SGT Yuen went to her aid and took "incredible patience" to guide her to her destination.
