SCS visits PHQ |

The Secretary for the Civil Service (SCS), Ms Denise Yue, spent half a day at PHQ on July 21, meeting SDG officers, representatives of the Police Force Council Staff Side and Force's civilian staff associations, as well as frontline officers at work. Meeting Ms Yue on arrival was Commissioner Lee Ming-kwai. The first programme of Ms Yue's visit was meeting SDG officers at a tea reception, in the company of the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner (Management) Fung Siu-yuen. She then proceeded to visit the Hong Kong Island Emergency Unit (EU HKI) in Caine House. Accompanied by Hong Kong Island Regional Commander Hung Hak-wai, Hong Kong Island Acting Senior Superintendent (Operations) Pang Shu-hung and Superintendent Tang Kay-hon of EU HKI, Ms Yue viewed the equipment used by EU HKI and met frontline staff at work. Before concluding her visit, Ms Yue, accompanied by Director of Personnel and Training Tsang Wai-hung, Director of Finance, Administration and Planning Ng Sek-hon, Acting Police Civil Secretary Chan Shui-nam, Staff Relations Senior Superintendent So Kam-tong and Staff Relations Superintendent Chan Ka-kit, met representatives from the Police Force Council Staff Side and the Force's civilian staff associations, and a cross section of staff. Both sides discussed and exchanged views on matters of mutual concern.
