CIP Chow Chat-kun and SIP Lam Man-han of TCD CCB	Company CEO	In a letter to CP, the CEO expressed his gratitude to the officers for detecting a case of "Denial of Service Attack" against the company server. The officers had arrested a suspect for launching the attack, minimising loss to the company and enabling its service to resume normal, the CEO added.
WSIP Cheung Shun-har of Road Management Office of T NTN	Engineering company	The company thanked WSIP Cheung and her colleagues for rendering assistance and support for its power supply projects for San Tin and Lok Ma Chau. Thanks to their valuable comments concerning the impact on traffic in Castle Peak Road, the projects were carried out successfully.
SGT Tin Hung-ming, PC Chan Tin-man and WPC Ng Man-wai of PSU 1 SSDIV, and SGT Yeung Kin-cheong of EU NTN	Hospital Chief Executive of North District Hospital	The Hospital Chief Executive said the officers acted swiftly "with courage, perseverance and teamwork" in handling a case involving a patient who had threatened to commit suicide.
WPC Fu Wing-shan of EU NTS	Mini-bus passenger	The passenger said she was very impressed by what WPC Fu did immediately after a mini-bus had collided with another vehicle near Ting Kau, Tsuen Wan. Though she was also slightly hurt as a passenger in plain clothes in the mini-bus, WPC Fu was the last person remaining at the scene when police arrived. The passenger said WPC Fu reassured the injured passengers and directed traffic to clear a traffic jam before her fellow officers arrived.
SGT Ng Kwok-hung, PCs Mak Chi-chung, Wong Siu-pong, Liu Wai-keung and Cheng Wai-lun, and WPC Lee Yuen-man, all from EU NTS	A married couple	The couple had a heated argument at home, during which the wife threatened to kill herself and other members of her family. In response to the husband's call for help, the officers quickly arrived at the scene, separated the couple and succeeded in mediating a settlement of the couple's dispute. In a letter to their commander, the couple said the officers had prevented "a domestic tragedy" with professionalism, patience and communication skills.
WSGT Chan Oi-man of RMPU NTS	School principal	The principal has sent a "Thank You" card to WSGT Chan in appreciation of her timely assistance in locating a girl student, who had run away from home.
WPC Hui Chui-fung and officers of RMPU NTS and TFSU TWDIST	Local resident	The resident thanked the officers for locating her father after conducting a search of the hillside under extremely hot weather.
PC Chen Chi-kwong of T NTN	Local resident	In a letter to CP, the resident thanked PC Chen for helping his wife after her car had broken down on Tolo Highway near the Science Park. Spotting the stalled car while on motorcycle patrol, PC Chen immediately moved the driver and passengers out of harm's way, and arranged for the car to be towed away. During the whole process, PC Chen had provided assistance in a professional and caring manner.

The officers had absolutely gone "the extra mile" in their professional investigation, the senior executive added.
