IPA members tour Macao

Bacalhau was on the menu when 50 officers who are members of the International Police Association (IPA) visited Macao on the weekend of July 22 to 23.

The IPA members were given a warm hospitality by their counterparts in the Macao IPA. They dined on typical Portuguese dishes in the Senior Officers' Mess, before visiting the Security Forces Museum in the old San Francisco Barracks (which is not open to the general public).

They then toured other places, both the old favourites and some newer attractions, which were an eye-opener for those who have not been to Macao for a few years.

Many members brought their families along. The price of the event brought a smile to the faces of even the stingiest, and further excursions outside Hong Kong will be planned.
