The Police Tactical Unit Team representing the Force retained the title of the fastest team on the 3.2-km course of the Matilda Hospital Sedan Chair Race on Sunday, November 12.

The event was kicked off by Commissioner Lee Ming-kwai, who cheered on the team members and wished them the best for the race.

Anticipating a strong challenge from the Fire Services Department this year, the PTU Team showed a lot of power and determination to lead from start to finish, crossing the line under the watchful eye of the Commissioner, in a very respectable time of 13 minutes and 32 seconds.

The event, which is in its 32nd year and supports charities that do not benefit from the Community Chest, still welcomes donations, which can be sent to Chief Inspector Ian Strange at PTU HQ. Cheques should be made payable to "Matilda Charities Fund" and be forwarded to the event organiser, with the envelope marked "Sedan Chair Race".

CP is on hand to cheer on the PTU Team
