Members of the Emergency Unit Kowloon East (EU KE) Volunteer Group have brought care and love over the last two months to the elderly living in solitude in Tseung Kwan O.

The elderly have just moved into Tseung Kwan O, have few friends there and are trying to adapt to a new living environment. Therefore, they were the targets of the Haven of Hope Christian Service's "Care Our Elderlies" Campaign.

Over 20 members of the EU KE Volunteer Group joined the campaign for the last Mid-Autumn Festival, helping with preparation work and personally delivering goods and presents to the elderly, giving them a very pleasant surprise.

Ms Polly Szeto, registered social worker and the person-in-charge of the campaign, is most grateful to the EU KE Volunteer Group. "There was only very limited time in organising the campaign and the related events, but volunteer group quickly responded and provided all the necessary assistance, truly living up to the reputation of being an Emergency Unit," she noted.
