The victim, who was beaten up and robbed of a mobile phone by three young thugs in Sha Tin, is grateful to the officers not only for apprehending two of the law-breakers, but also for showing concern and giving advice on treatment for injuries to his eyes. |

In a letter to PPRB, the motorist said he was signalled to pull up on the Tolo Highway by PC Wong on motorcycle patrol, and this encounter later turned out to be a pleasant experience for him. "Besides telling me the reason for stopping me, he handed me some publicity leaflets on traffic regulations and explained some traffic safety regulations, including those I've got only a vague memory. Throughout the whole process, he was very patient, friendly and polite," the motorist added. |

The resident lost contact with his daughter after she went to Hong Kong to visit relatives in April this year. After seeking help from the police through the 999 Post Box, he was informed by WPC Leung that his daughter returned to the Mainland on May 10. The resident said he thought the case was closed after his daughter had crossed the boundary, but WPC Leung followed up the case thoroughly to find out whether the girl was in touch with her family. |
