Last respects to SSGT Wong Siu-pang
The Force Funeral for the late Station Sergeant Wong Siu-pang was held at the Universal Funeral Parlour, Hunghom on November 28, when hundreds of mourners paid their last respects. Among them were Commissioner Lee Ming-kwai, Senior Directorate Group Officers, Assistant Commissioners, and representatives from Major Formations, Regions, Districts, staff associations and other disciplined services. The coffin was draped with the flag of the Force. The pall-bearers were Senior Superintendent, Operations, HK Island Region, Mr Cheung Tak-keung, and Mr Wong's colleagues. Following a religious service, Mr Wong was laid to rest at the Gallant Garden. Mr Wong sustained gunshot injury in the course of duty in Aberdeen on September 6. He passed away on October 4 while on sick leave.
