Milestone for 300 PCs
Over 300 Police Constables, who have completed the new Recruited Police Constable Foundation Training Course, were awarded the "Certificate of Law Enforcement and Security Management" by the Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK).
Since January last year, the Police College and OUHK have jointly delivered two modules of the RPC Foundation Training Course. The officers being awarded the certificate are the first two batches of trainees to have completed the new training course. They passed out of the Police College and embarked on their police career in July and September last year.
Officiating at the certificate award ceremony at OUHK on January 6 Police College were Acting Director To Chun-wai, Professor John Leong, President of OUHK, and two vice-presidents of OUHK.
