The disabled person wrote to CP to thank the officers for going to great lengths in finding a parking space for him in Peak Road. The disabled person called for police assistance on finding a parking space designated for the disabled in Peak Road being illegally occupied by a private car. The officers quickly arrived at the scene, looked for another suitable parking space for the informant and then escorted him to find his family, enabling the family to spend a happy time on the Peak. The informant added that he was very impressed with the officers' outstanding services to the citizens of Hong Kong. |

The resident was knocked off the motorcycle he was riding in a traffic accident and was lying on the ground waiting for the arrival of ambulance when Mr Regan came forward and attended to him. Mr Regan also informed the victim's wife and arranged for her to accompany her husband to hospital. In a letter to CP, the resident said Mr Regan's calm assurance and professional manner made a great difference to him and to his wife in difficult circumstances, and the conduct and the strong personal qualities that Mr Regan demonstrated are a credit to himself and to the Force. |

The motorist parked his car on a street and on the next day he found the car badly damaged, along with three other vehicles, apparently in a hit-and-run incident. Despite lack of eye-witnesses and evidence, PC Ng managed to locate the suspected offending vehicle - a mini-bus, as well as its driver, prompting the motorist to write to praise PC Ng for his thorough investigation, efficiency and dedication to duty. |
