Tuen Mun District has claimed the Purdon Shield with its overall outstanding achievement in sports in 2006. At the same time, 32 officers have been presented with awards for their achievements in sports and arts within and outside the Force in 2006.
Among the officers, Woman Police Constable Angie Tsang from Ngau Tau Kok Division, a Chinese Wushu player, has clinched the Watson Cup as the overall outstanding athlete in 2006.
Twenty-five other officers have won the Force Colours Award for Sport with their outstanding achievements in, or services to, sports in 2006 (See Table A).
Six other officers have won the Force Colours Awards for Arts with their outstanding achievements in, or services to, arts in 2006 (See Table B).

Force delegation leave for WPFG 2007
Meanwhile, the Force has sent 163 officers to take part in the World Police and Fire Games 2007 (WPFG 2007) scheduled to be held in Adelaide, Australia from March 16 to 25. Led by Director of Crime and Security Lee Ka-chiu and New Territories North Regional Commander Cheung Siu-wah, the Force's main delegation left for Adelaide on March 14.
The Flag Presentation Ceremony for WPFG 2007 took place at POC on March 5 when Deputy Commissioner (Management) Fung Siu-yuen presented the HKSAR Flag and Force Flag to Mr Cheung. Mr Fung has especially taken leave to join the delegation to support the Force athletes.
