Sixteen officers from Airport District were among 131 airport frontline staff members who were presented with the "Best Service at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Award" by the Airport Authority last month.

The Airport Authority has organised a "Customer Service Excellence Programme" to recognise the excellent customer service provided at the HKIA. Under the programme, the "Best Service at HKIA Award" is presented to airport frontline staff members from different organisations as well as law enforcement agencies.

The commended police officers came from Airport District's Anti-illegal Transport Task Force, led by Senior Inspector Lin Wing-ho, and the Special Working Group for ITU Telecom World 2006, led by Senior Inspector Ng Chat. Their dedication and commitment to service quality have contributed to upholding Hong Kong's image as a friendly and service-oriented metropolis.
