Three get CP's Commendation
SIP Ng was commended for his leadership, dedication and professionalism of an exceptionally high order displayed during an intelligence operation in support of an investigation into the attack on a Legislative Councillor and a member of a political party in August.
The constables earned the commendation with their courage, professional ability and devotion of an exceptionally high order displayed during a tactical operation in Tsim Sha Tsui in October 2004 to neutralise an armed robbery gang. In the operation, three gang members were arrested and two pistols seized. The gangsters were later jailed for 10 to 13 years.
Commissioner Tang King-shing presented Commissioner's Commendation to Senior Inspector Ng Kwok-cheung, and Police Constables Ng Chi-ming and Ho Kwok-wai on June 21 for their outstanding performances in two cases.
