MHDIV always strives to demonstrate the marine police's professional services and pledge of seeking progress to visiting civic groups, school delegations and uniformed youth corps.

MHDIV management planned and organised the visit with two goals - enabling the visitors to have a better understanding of the marine police, and cultivating among officers a culture of caring for the community so that they would appreciate what the Force means by "We Serve with Pride and Care". The management also hopes that officers, in the course of providing professional services, would duly consider the feelings of the public.

Marine police officers had a truthful exchange with the NEC visitors and disseminated the message of police and community joining hands to fight crime. It was also impressed on them that the Force advocates integrating NEC communities into the local Chinese society.
