A joint news briefing was held on June 28 to announce special traffic arrangements and crowd management measures to facilitate HKSAR Anniversary celebration events in various districts on June 30 and July 1.

Attending the briefing were Police Public Relations Branch Chief Superintendent, Mrs Choi Wong Fung-yee; Senior Superintendent (Operations), Hong Kong Island, Mr Cheung Tak-keung; Senior Superintendent of Traffic, Hong Kong Island, Mr Chiu Kai-ting; Deputy District Commander, Yau Tsim District, Mr So Kam-sing; Chief Inspector (Enforcement and Control), Traffic Kowloon West, Mr Leung Wing-tai; and Chief Inspector (Enforcement and Control), Traffic New Territories South, Mr Lee Wing-keung. Also present at the briefing was the Principal Transport Officer (Urban) of Transport Department, Mr Albert Su Yau-on.
