Kowloon West Region and Kowloon Welfare Office will jointly organise a family life education programme to enhance children's confidence and sense of achievement through dialogues.

The programme will consist of a theme talk for parents on Friday, February 29, from 7 pm to 9 pm and activities for families on Sunday, March 2 from 8.45 am to 5 pm.

Professor Wong Po-choi, Chairperson of the Committee on Home-School Co-operation of the Education Bureau and Professor of Department of Information Engineering, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Ms Au Yuet-ching, Vice-Chairperson of the Committee on Home-School Co-operation, and Principal of Yan Chai Hospital Wong Wha San Secondary School, will deliver the theme talk, entitled "Dialogue with Children - An Appreciative Approach", at the Police Sports and Recreation Club.

Family activities will take the form of visits to Disney Lake, Sky Plaza and Fanling Lavender Garden, as well as buffet lunch in the Regal Airport Hotel.

The programme fee is $80 per person for serving disciplinary and civilian officers, as well as their direct family members. No fee will be charged for children aged below three.
