SPC Tao Sai-kut of DTT CDIST	Resident	The resident said the car her husband was driving suddenly broke down in the busy Garden Road, causing traffic congestion. As the resident's husband failed to restart his car, SPC Tao quickly provided assistance, first resolving the congestion by directing traffic, restarting the car and then moving it into a nearby car park. He also summoned a tow truck on the motorist's behalf before continuing with his other duties. In a letter to CP, the resident described SPC Tao as "an example of Hong Kong's finest at their best".
SGTs Chan Kwok-king and Tsui Wing-keung, SPCs Yau Wai-sing, Cheung Kwong-wing and Chan Kwok-cheung, PCs Yeung Hing-ho and Hoi Un-iam, WPC Li Hoi-yee, all from PL 17A, as well as PCs Cheng Wing-wai and Sin Ka-tsun, both from MEDIV	Resident	The resident, his wife, and their six-year-old son headed for the Big Wave Bay in a motorised sampan, but the vessel capsized in very rough seas. The family managed to reach shore but could not leave the scene because the sampan's engine had broken down. To make matters worse, big waves prevented a police rescue vessel from reaching the stranded family. Braving big waves and strong wind, officers swam ashore and eventually brought the family to safety. In a letter to PPRB, the resident said his family's ordeal showed that the services provided by the Force are comprehensive, efficient and reliable.
PC Ma Tat-fai of AIT 6 T HKI	Resident	The resident said she was injured on board a double-decker bus when the driver drove recklessly. After she had reported the matter to the police, PC Ma rendered first class services to her when she received treatment in hospital and made a statement in police station. In a letter to CP, the resident praised PC Ma for trying his best to serve the community.
SGT Ho Kwok-hing, PC Tang Kai-shan and WPC Tse Oi-tai, all from LMCDIV	Public school principal and a Mainland visitor	The principal thanked the officers for promptly locating the return permit his student had lost at Lok Ma Chau. In another similar case, PC Tang and WPC Tse earned the praise of a Mainland visitor, who lost her travel document while returning to Shenzhen.
SGT Thom Wing-hong, SPC Wong Ka-wing and PCs Tam Yiu-ming and Fung Tsan-hang, all from PLN 4 EU KW	Assault case victim	The victim thanked the officers for apprehending two suspected assailants, following his report.
PC Ip Ngai-chung from MESU KWCDIV	Mainland resident	The resident said she came to Hong Kong after her husband had passed away. In helping her handle the property left behind by her husband, the officers provided a professional and quality service.
WPC Wan Yuk-lan from PSU 1 WFDIV	School principal	The principal thanked WPC Wan for volunteering her services for an anti-crime youth project organised by the school and CDIST PCRO. WPC Wan was very enthusiastic and showed outstanding leadership while counselling youngsters.
PC Kwan Yiu-man of AIT 3 T NTN	Traffic accident victim	The victim said she was injured in a traffic accident but luckily PC Kwan took good care of her throughout the case.
PCs Yip Ying-shek and Leung Hon-sum and WPC Wong Pik-yung, all from PSU 4 TYDIV	Resident	The victim approached TYDIV for help when she had a dispute with a company over renovation of her flat at the cost of $300,000. Though there was little the officers could do for her at that stage after analysing the case, the victim was still very grateful to them for the way they handled the case, and was impressed with their patience and politeness.
PC Tong Wing-sun from TYDIV	Resident	The resident thanked PC Tong for going to great lengths in successfully tracing the property she had lost to Cheung Sha Wan Police Station, where another resident had handed in the lost property.
TWD Lee Chun-yu of APTDIST	Motorist	The motorist thanked TWD Lee for helping him change a flat tyre, while he was on duty at the Hong Kong International Airport.
SGT Fung Wai-man, PCs Lai Chun-man, Chiu King-yin and Law Tsz-shing, and WPCs Wong Ka-man and Law Wai-fun, all from RMPU NTS	Resident	The citizen wrote a long letter to CP to praise the officers for making a great effort in successfully locating her aunt, who failed to return home after being discharged from hospital. The resident said she was proud of Hong Kong having such fine police officers who showed a lot of care, love and compassion, and were dedicated to providing quality services to the public.
