A party of Police Mentees, led by their Police Mentors, visited the Railway District (RAILDIST) and the Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway Corporation at Tsing Yi Station on May 10 as the fifth activity of the Police Mentorship Programme (PMP) 2007-08.

Through the visit, these undergraduates gained a glimpse into the operational strategies for policing public order events and into crisis management for a terrorist attack.

As RAILDIST Deputy Commander and a mentor for the PMP 2007-08, Superintendent Cheng Tak-ming extended a warm welcome to his mentees, while Acting Chief Inspector Tse Yuk-lung from RAILDIST shared his work experience with the visitors, giving them a good idea of the diverse natures of police work. The visit has surely aroused the mentees' interest in joining the Force after their graduation.
