Village representatives visit CPB
As a measure to reduce burglaries in villages, the Kowloon East Regional Crime Prevention Office (RCPO) recently arranged for village representatives to look at the security devices on display in the Crime Prevention Bureau (CPB) Showroom.
Accompanied by staff of the RCPO and the Kwun Tong District Police Community Relations Office, nine village representatives attended the tailor-made visit programme and heard a briefing on security devices by CPB staff. The representatives were so interested in what they saw that two of them considered installing CCTV in their villages. The representatives hoped that similar visits would be organised for other villagers.
