Kowloon East Regional Commander Blaine Hoggard presented retirement souvenirs, Police Long Service Medals and Clasps, Meritorious Service Certificates and Commanding Officer's Commendations to a total of 83 officers from Kowloon East Region, including police officers and civilian staff, at the Auxiliary Police Headquarters on September 19.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Mr Hoggard thanked the officers for their dedication, loyalty and commitment to the Force and the HKSAR Government, and for their efforts in policing the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian Events and the Legislative Council Election.

He also took the opportunity to update the officers on the achievements of implementation of the Kowloon East Regional Action Plan 2008.
