Crime prevention seminar
for airport community
Airport District (APTDIST) and the New Territories South (NTS) Regional Crime Prevention Office (RCPO) conducted another seminar recently for members of the airport community, including the Airport Authority, airlines, logistics and security companies, retail operators, restaurants, and cleaning agencies.
During the seminar, the Police Community Relations Officer of APTDIST, Senior Inspector Lin Wing-ho, and Sergeant Ho Wai-lim from RCPO NTS shared their experience of crime prevention, and discussed with the audience the crime trend in APTDIST, the modus operandi of theft, deception and other crimes, as well as prevention measures.
During the Q and A session, the audience raised many questions and exchanged views on crime prevention with SIP Lin and SGT Ho. This interaction between APTDIST and its airport partners will contribute to maintaining the Hong Kong International Airport's outstanding reputation.
