With the new Anti-spam tool in place, a new service, the "Summary of Spam Email Messages", has been launched. All the Spam emails filtered by the Anti-spamming tool are moved to the "SPAM" folder of officers' mailbox automatically with a prefix "<---SPAM--->" added to the subject. After subscription to the service, officers will receive in their PEN account a "Summary of Spam Email Messages", which lists all the Spam emails they have received that have been filtered for that day. Moreover, officers can perform the following steps with the Summary. (i) Add the sender of a Spam email to their own "Whitelist", if they find any false-positive case created (i.e. emails that should NOT be classified as Spam). (ii) Remove an address from the "Whitelist" that has been added through step (i) above. For subscribing to the service, email to "Email Admin/ITB/POLICE/HKSARG" with the subject "Summary of Spam Email Messages". It will take three working days to process the request. Refer to the user guide via the following link for more details. http://point.hpf.gov.hk:8088/english/isw/pen/files/common/summary_spam_1.0.eng.doc
