In line with the amended Employees' Compensation Ordinance, officers who sustained injuries while on duty or suffered from occupational diseases on or after September 1, 2008, can claim reimbursement of medical expenses to a daily limit of up to $200 for examinations and treatment by a Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner (CMP).

To claim reimbursement, officers should submit a completed form, with the relevant documents, to their supervisory officers within one month after the expenses were incurred. The form can be downloaded from "POINT > P WING > Download Forms".

A list of registered CMPs is available at the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong Website: http://www.cmchk.org.hk. Officers may also refer to the FAQs at the website of the "Central Cyber Government Office (CCGO) > Information Repository on the Administration of the Civil Service".

For enquiries, please contact SIP CS (IOD) [ip-sip-cs-iod@police.gov.hk] on 2860-3218 or Fax: 2200-4422.
