The Police Mentorship Programme (PMP) Job Attachment, held between June and August this year, came to a successful conclusion with a closing ceremony in the Police College on October 18.

Officiating at the ceremony were Acting Assistant Commissioner Chau Kwok-leung and PMP's Head Mentor Chung Hung-fung.

Since its debut in 2007, the PMP Job Attachment is held every summer, with the prime objective of providing a platform for police mentees to obtain work experience in the fields of their studies, and at the same time appreciate the work of police officers. This summer, 28 mentees participated in 19 projects at different police units, performing tasks related to research and survey, activities organising and information technology.

During the closing ceremony, mentors, mentees and project officers shared the memorable moments of the job attachment, and exhibition boards, produced by the mentees, were displayed to highlight the achievements of their projects.

Following a slideshow, the mentees shared experiences and interesting aspects of their job attachment until the end of the ceremony.

The exhibition boards remain outside the Force Library, 7/F, Arsenal House until November 30. Force members are welcome to visit the exhibition and give their views to: rec-publicity@police.gov.hk.

A memorable occasion for both Police Mentors and Mentees
