IRS compliments NB officers
The Deputy Chief of the Criminal Investigation Division of the US Internal Revenue Services (IRS), Mr Victor S O Song, accompanied by the Oakland Field Office Pacific Rim Project Delegation, called at the Narcotics Bureau on December 2, 2008 during his visit to Hong Kong, Macao, Taipei, Seoul, and Beijing. The purposes of the visit were to support IRS's long-term strategy for enhancing bi-lateral law enforcement co-operation in investigating offshore tax evasion, money laundering and related financial crimes in the Pacific Rim, which have a US nexus.
Mr Song presented plaques to Chief Superintendent Peter Else, Woman Senior Superintendent Lam Man-sai, Senior Superintendent Lam Man-wing (former SP FI NB), Woman Chief Inspector Mui Sin-kwan, Senior Inspector Chow Chi-kwan and Woman Constable Chan Lan-fung in appreciation of their continuous support and assistance for IRS.
