KWT DIT 1 clinches NTS Best DIT Award
Over 300 crime stream officers from New Territories South (NTS) Region gathered at Police Sports and Recreation Club on the evening of March 20 to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the NTS CID Night. The occasion was also used to honour the recipient of the Best District Investigation Team (DIT) Award of the Region.
The eight elite crime busters who have together won the Best DIT Award are Detective Senior Inspectors Kai Tsz-lun and Lam Wai-ming, Detective Sergeant Li Kam-wah, Detective Constables Kwok Wai-chor, Sze Yan-chung, Lau Tik-ho and Leung Kai-yip, and Detective Woman Police Constable Yau Pui-yan, all from DIT 1 of Kwai Tsing District. NTS Regional Commander Tse Shu-chun presented a certificate to each of them on the CID Night.
As five DITs from NTS Region, each nominated by its own District, had vied for the award, KWT DIT 1 was recognised as the best of the best DITs in the Region. Therefore, the other four DITs were also presented with a certificate by their own District Commander on the CID Night in recognition of their performances.
