Superintendent Chan Wa-shing, Senior Inspector Woo Kin-chung, Sergeant Wong Yuk-shing, Police Constables Po Chung-wai and Lam Ka-shun were commended for neutralising a highly organised vice syndicate in Kowloon West between 2003 and 2004.

The sixth officer, Police Constable Kwan Sai-chung earned CP's Commendation with his contribution to the neutralisation of a triad faction active on Hong Kong Island.
