TWDIST runs for charity
Tsuen Wan District (TWDIST) Commander Mike Cartwright and his officers raised $4,100 for the "Light and Love Home" by taking part in a 42-km charity marathon at Wan Chai Stadium on April 26. The "Light and Love Home" is a Christian organisation found in 1983, providing a wide range of community services, including homes for the aged and orphanages.
The team of TWDIST runners, comprising both disciplined and civilian officers at various ranks, completed the marathon in three hours and 30 minutes, beating 20 teams to take the second place in the "Mixed Senior" Group.
