Auxiliary Police passing-out parade

The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Henry Tang, attended an Auxiliary Police passing-out parade as Reviewing Officer on May 30, and inspected 56 Auxiliary Recruit Police Constables, 40 Auxiliary Sergeants and 14 Auxiliary Station Sergeants. The Station Sergeants and Sergeants were promoted recently.

Following the parade, the Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Community Day, an event open to the public to mark the 50th anniversary of the Auxiliary Police, was held at the Auxiliary Police Headquarters in the afternoon, featuring band performance, training demonstration and exhibition booths on Auxiliary Police history, duties and voluntary work. A one-stop recruitment service was also provided on spot.
