Applications invited for education trusts

Applications are now invited for grants, bursaries and scholarships from the Police Children's Education Trust (PCET) and the Police Education and Welfare Trust (PE&WT) for the 2009-10 academic year. The Education Trusts aim at providing financial assistance for the education of children of police officers as well as encouragement to those who are academically bright.
The application deadlines are September 15 for Secondary six and seven category, and September 30 for tertiary level, compassionate cases and disability category. Late applications will not be processed.
Detailed information and application forms can be obtained from Personnel Services and Staff Relations (PS&SR) Branch Headquarters, Regional Welfare Offices, offices of Training and Staff Relations Officers, or downloaded from the PS&SR Branch website in Police Intranet (POINT) or Hong Kong Police Internet Homepage. Grants for disabled children and compassionate cases should be applied through Regional Welfare Offices.
Applicants must forward their completed application forms with any relevant supporting documents to the Secretariat of PCET and PE&WT, c/o PS&SR Branch, 38/F, Arsenal House, Police Headquarters, 1 Arsenal Street, Wan Chai.
