Cheering on the police team in the final were Chairman of the Police Sports Council, Mr Cheung Siu-wah, Committee Member of the Council, Mr Lui Hon-kwok, and Chairman of the Police Football Club, Mr Cheng Se-lim.

After the final, Team Manager, Mr Chu King-wai, received the Champion Trophy from the Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Mr Yuen Ming-fai, on behalf of the Force.

Mr Chu and the team coaches, Mr Ng Cheuk-wah and Mr Luk King-yun, attributed the police team's success to their hard training in the past year, during which all the team members tried their best to attend training sessions despite duty commitments. Their efforts also made for team spirit and unity.
