FCSQ surveys customers and staff

The Force Committee on Service Quality (FCSQ) has started conducting a pilot customer survey in report rooms and crime offices.

During the survey, a student mentee and three officers under the Development Programme for Junior Police Officers with Potential will conduct face-to-face interviews with informants, crime victims or witnesses, in an attempt to gain a better picture of the real needs of customers than the traditional Telephone Customer Satisfaction Survey could provide.

At the same time the FCSQ will also gauge the views of the staff. The FCSQ hopes that by identifying the real situations from the perspectives of customers and staff on the ground, the Force can effectively utilise resources, without expending resources in areas rated as less important by the public.
