The Police Taekwondo Club (PTC) held the Taekwondo Club Annual Competition on August 23 at the Police Sports and Recreation Club (PSRC), attracting 156 competitors from the PTC, Hong Kong Nepalese Taekwondo Association, and Hong Kong and Chung Shan Great View Taekwondo Association. The competition commenced with a contest of demonstrations presented by three teams from each of the clubs. The Nepalese Taekwondo Association won the 1st prize with their stunning display of breaking techniques and action sequences. During the competition, a total of 114 full contact fights were held and 29 gold medals were awarded to winners from different age, weight and sex categories. The PTC is recruiting new members, including officers' families and civilians. Training takes place at PSRC, and details are as follows: Every Monday 8:00pm - 10:00pm Indoor Games Hall Every Wednesday 7:30pm - 9:30pm Table Tennis Room Every Friday (Children class) 6:30pm - 8:00pm Indoor Games Hall In addition, a class for children is held every Sunday morning between 10am and 11:30am at Police Officers' Club.
