In a letter to RC NTS, the manager said that after a number of burglaries had occurred at Kwai Shing East Estate, the officers conducted a thorough investigation and identified the modus operandi. In a bid to prevent a repetition of the crime, the officers also provided comprehensive and very useful suggestions, gaining the manager's utmost gratitude. |

An Australian visitor |
The visitor left behind his laptop computer in a taxi when he alighted at Tsing Yi MTR Station. Being in a hurry to catch a plane for Australia, he only gave the Police basic information, which was insufficient to trace the taxi. However, the officers made long distant calls, obtained vital information and finally located the missing property. The visitor later sent an e-mail to RAILDIST, expressing his appreciation of the quality services provided by the officers. |

A party of Mainland visitors |
The visitors turned to the Police for help after they had failed to trace their luggage they had left behind in a taxi. In a letter to Mong Kok Station, they said the officers tried their best to help and provided a quality service in the Report Room. |

Hong Kong Airport Authority |
The Hong Kong Airport Authority wrote to APTDIST expressing their appreciation of the officers' efforts in arresting a culprit for theft during an anti-theft operation. Later, during further investigations by the DISS officers, it was discovered that the suspect was also involved in seven other theft cases, which happened in toilets between November 2008 and July 2009. The Airport Authority was very impressed by the officers' efficiency and professionalism. |
