CP's Commendation
Commissioner Tang King-shing presented CP's Commendation to Chief Inspector (CIP) Peter Whitton on September 14 for his contribution to the policing operations for the Beijing Olympic Torch Relay and the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian Events.
CIP Whitton is commended for displaying leadership, professional ability, energy and devotion to duty of an exceptionally high order whilst working as a member of the Force Special Duty Team for the torch relay and the equestrian events between October 2006 and September 2008.
CP also presented his commendation to Police Constable Yue Chun-sing for his outstanding performance in a two-year anti-triad operation.
