P Wing cheers up elderly
Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Chau Kwok-leung led a party of volunteers from Personnel Wing (P Wing) to pay a visit to the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Residential Care Home for the Elderly on February 6, shortly before the Chinese New Year.
The 32 volunteers, comprising officers and their children, warmed the hearts of 132 elderly aged 65 to 101 with good wishes, a magic show, Cantonese opera songs and gifts. The elderly reciprocated with applause and smile.
