Are you prepared to share your expertise and experience of police work with fellow officers? If you are, contact Police College, which is recruiting Peer Advisers for the Force Knowledge Management (KM) Scheme. There are currently 52 officers appointed as Peer Advisers under six domains covering 18 subjects. Police College is eager to expand the scope by bringing more police experts into the KM Scheme. Anyone with any police specialty, particularly those related to frontline work such as handling civil right matters, IT-related crime or Non-ethic Chinese policing, are welcome. A Peer Adviser is required to make his or her contact point known on the Peer Adviser Scheme website and to participate in knowledge-sharing activities from time to time. Police College will provide recruits with induction training and local KM training programmes where necessary. Those interested in serving as "one-call advisory contact point" are advised to send applications to Police College before April 30. For more information about the Peer Adviser recruitment, look up the website of K-life via POINT > POWER > K-life, or contact Superintendent Frederic Choi on 2860-5770 (PEN: sp-rc) or Chief Inspector Denny Lok on 2860-2391 (PEN: cip-rc). |
