"Police.Action" photo contest draws over 100 entries

The first Force Photo Contest, "Police.Action
", has attracted over 100 entries.

Organised by the Hong Kong Police IT Society and the Hong Kong Police Photography Club, the contest aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among officers, as well as projecting the positive image of officers at work.

Winners of the contest were selected by a judging panel comprising former Deputy Commissioner, Mr Yam Tat-wing (Chief Judge); Past President of the Hong Kong Institute of Professional Photographers, Mr Felix So; Chairman of the Hong Kong Police IT Society, Mr Jolly Wong; Chairman of the Police Photography Club, Mr Ting Hung-kay, and Chief Information and Publicity Officer of Police Public Relations Branch, Mrs Peggy Chau.

The results of the contest are:
Action Group:
Champion Sergeant Choi Kwan-cheong of Information Systems Wing
1st runner-up Station Sergeant Kwan Wing-tat of Emergency Unit Hong Kong Island
2nd runner-up Police Constable Leung Man-hei of Emergency Unit Kowloon West

Static Group:
Champion (also Overall Champion) Chief Inspector Chung Ling-wing of Kwai Chung Division
1st runner-up Sergeant To Kwok-fai of Lok Ma Chau Division
2nd runner-up Police Constable Chow Wing-ho of Emergency Unit New Territories North


A roving exhibition of the winning and complimentary entries was held at Police Officers' Club, Police Headquarters and Police Sports and Recreation Club between April 12 and May 9.
